04 Land Rover Discovery S 36K miles

I didn't realize how bad the gas mileage was on those. They are nice looking trucks though.

Yeah, when you use a V8 to push a vehicle that is about
as aerodynamic as a mailbox, the mpg is pretty poor.
Still, it's no worse than an 80 series Land Cruiser.
 
I don't know is it that bad? I got 15mpg consistently even when pulling a heavy load in my 04 Disco - isn't that the same or better than LC, 4runners, and certainly better than Defenders which have smaller and lighter frames

The Charlotte, NC dealer just sold a similar off-lease, 40k miles w/ certified preowned warranty for $13k, and it was an LE, Bonatti Gray. If you want a D-II, '04 is the only year to get- 4.6 motor, CDL T-Case, updated headlights, and much improved brakes and ABS software. Just my $.02....
