1/4 Ton Trailer "C" Shackle Rebuild

I have a 1947 Bantam that has the original "C" shackles on the leaf springs, when I tried to grease them recently most of them would not easily take any fresh grease. Anyone rebuild these before? Where do you source the parts?
Has anyone replaced the greasable type bushings with rubber or poly bushings?

Walck's is a good source. So is Border Parts in San Diego. The C-shackles are the same as the early CJs so the parts are relatively easy to find. When I did mine, I found that buying new C-shackle assemblies with all the seals, etc. wasn't that much more than sourcing the seals alone so I replaced them along with the spring bushings and new bearings and seals in the hubs so that I essentially had a new suspension. (I wonder if I can live long enough to get 50 years out of the new stuff.)
