If you're a fan of the Wrangler JK, you are definitely not alone. Jeep announced that the one millionth JK rolled off the assembly line this morning.
Figuring half the total as the shorter two door model, and half the four door, then one million JKs placed bumper to bumper would make a line about 2,500 miles long. That's more than the distance between the Wrangler factory in Toledo, Ohio and Los Angeles.
Jeep might have sold even more, but their Toledo plant is running very close to maximum capacity. The JK version has been produced since late 2006, and will continue for a couple more years before the introduction of a redesign in 2015 as a 2016 model.
