It's good to be home for a minute, enjoying the D1 as the leaves just start to turn in WVa. Roof rack being used as intended.

Lol I used mine the other day to change my brake pads

That's funny but be careful they are very dangerously unstable at times. Bottle jacks and jack stands is the way to go. I carry two bottle jacks in my P38 and a couple of blocks of wood for cribbing. All fit in the spare tire well.

Yeah I know they can be unstable, I was hesitant to lift it that way but none of the Jacks I had would lift the rover and the jack stands were to short to hold it high enough to get the wheel off the ground so I really didn't have a choice haha

What rack are you using for the back. How do you like that setup for the roof racks. I was thinking about doing something similar since I really don't want to fork over a ton of money on a full roof rack.

its just a tall gutter tower in back and the front is a rail mount on the factory rail. the rear bar had to be bent up just a tad to keep level with the front bar (also helps to clear the rear sun roof), but it works great thus far, for how little I am into it I really cant complain.

A quick update on my Challenge truck...left the Fabricator's on Monday for disassembly, final welding, paint and reassembly. Aiming to have her tested and ready for comps by Christmas.
