I spent a couple minutes yesterday evening working on the forward 'fender skirt'. I am not shy to admit that I am not the best at complex angle finding. It proved to be easiest for me to cut and trim until I got the angles and dimensions correct.
Obviously, the next step is to trim and cap the end of that outer long piece.
After that piece is done, it's on to 'connecting the dots' and building the actual fender.....then duplicating everything for the other side.
It will all be skinned with 16ga diamond plate.
The spacing that exists is to allow room for a 35" tire. That is a 31" currently.
I don't currently have any storage expectations for this front area, so the small size is not a concern. It will function as a solid step if needed. The rear skirting is sized to hold up to a standard BBQ grill propane tank.
