Better bumpers/winch mounts

I can't fab an F-series bumper to work personally, but I have friends who might can help. Are you finding better prices on these? The one pictured looks pretty wicked to me.

:coffee:

I got this one new for $500 so that was kinda hard to pass. It's a bit difficult to see from the pic but it's nicely built, steel so heavier (about 110lbs) but strong and easier to work with :)

It came with a bolt-on kit to mount on the F serie frame which obviously doesn't work but I might be able to use some of the parts. From the quick test fit the actual bumper shouldn't need any modifications.

I think it's just nice to have something a bit different than the crowd...

That Reunel bumper looks like the one on the 4x4 E450 Class C I just bought. The upper bull bar portion (which was kind of flimsy compared to an ARB or similar) just went out with the trash two days ago, lol. As part of my "de-blingification" efforts, eventually I plan to get the chrome sandblasted, and then paint the bumper black or get it powdercoated. I'd love to replace it with the UJOR one, but there are higher priorities, and it's a freakin' Class C...

This is how a F350 bumper fits on a van. In the last picture it shows how the sides extend past the body if you tuck the bumper right in against the front grill vs leaving it a few inches forward (then sides are flush with the body).

Just another option if you come across a cheap one for sale. You'll still need to build new mounting brackets but that's easy enough.

I've toured the Aluminess factory a couple of times. They offer a light but strong bumper reducing your unladen weight. Occasionally they offer seconds that are blemished.
