I'll do it...

As cheap as the LCI can are, its worth just stealing one lid off a can and building the pump. Eventually a can will get damaged or a hole and you'll have a spare waiting in the flanks :D

That said if someone wants to call LCI or Scepter and try and get some spare caps, I'd be in, of course if they are any more than $10 its a wash.

I'll call LCI in the next day or so.
I have a feeling that they are producing the cans as fast as they can so I think the answer will be negitive.

BTW - Any one have a link to the west marine pump? I couldn't find it...

Is this the one?

I like that one. Where did you find it?

I found them at usplastics.com. I order a lot of stuff for my fish tank from there. I will call them and see if there is some kind of bulkhead type fitting we can use for these. They have tons of adapters, and an 18" drop tube would fit perfectly in an LCI can.

FYI - I bought this pump of Amazon.com for $11.99 to use with my 5-gallon, bed-mounted water can. I haven't had it out in the field yet, but did try it out in the garage and it worked great - this thing will fill a drinking bottle with the quickness :)! No adapters to mess with - unscrew the water can top, drop the pump in, hit the switch........
