What a hoot!
My wife and I did a solo run and had a great day! Cut fresh tracks for miles, saw some Merriam's Turkey's, a couple Mule Deer, and the high light of the day was a pair of Bald Eagles perched a few hundred yards away. We drove until the truck wouldn't go any farther - stopped us at 14" of heavy compacted snow at 6700' of elevation. It took three pulls to get turned around and one to return the way we came. The winch would pull me up on the snow pack, I'd break thru again, and that repeated over and over for three full pulls. Once we got back to the main road, we headed up to William's via the paved road to see how deep the snow was at higher elevation. There is still 12 to 24" left above 7000'.
