Quick question - in the last pic above, you can see the two latches I installed (welded) to the trailer.

Problem is that when I hit a bump, they become dislodged. I have them zip tied in the pic, but this is a pain. Any options other than a bungee to keep these in place?

Just finished most of the paint, just need a little touch up here and there. I might do the cross bars in black. Also I undercoated the frame/tub with a rubberized coating.

Question: What can I plug those holes in the tailgate with!!???

If it wasn't for the wires on the backside of the tailgate and how that would impact the use of the tailgate, I'd say put small red LEDs there attached to the brake lights. Maybe glue on some red reflectors?

I thought they had a hole for a pad lock.

The issue is that the red handles in the pic....they pop out, and then the lid is no longer latched.

Trying to find a better way to keep the latches from popping open.

If that's a destaco latch they sell them with lock latchs. An extra toggle that won't open without being pushed
