espar tent heater question solar?

I just picked a military espar diesel tent heater.. its 24v so I was thinking of 2 small scooter batteries and maybe a solar panel to keep it charged.. anyone ever power one from solar before? These little things kick out some heat

I don't know what the power requirements are for the 24v, but two AGM/scooter /ups/jump pack would probably do the trick. I think the 12v models are around 2 amps? So yours may well be around the range of 1 amp@ 24v. Those little batteries will give you possibly 6-12 hrs of run time.

No real plans for it..I was going to use it for parts for a similiar heater in my motorhome but its to nice to do that to...so was thinking on what I can ould do with it

I have one too. I was going to try 2 SLA batteries like the ones in UPS. The biggest I can find.
