I purchased it completed. Ended up much cheaper than having done. I honestly have to noticed the gap between Bed and Cab. I think it looks greater than it is with all the snow and light behind it.

That gap is normal on pick up trucks. The big three usually place a flat rubber strip that is attached to the bed that covers most of the gap. Love the truck.

Some of the newer trucks have the pick up bed wrap around the cab slightly - so that makes it harder to see the gap. You'll always need the gap though to allow for frame flex. Tundras don't really have enough of a gap for how much their frames flex - a lot of my friends who have Tundras and use them off road have dents where the two meet.
