Front Nose Box....Paint or Bedliner

I'm having a trailer built which will include a fairly large aluminum nose box..that will be painted.. I'm assuming these boxes get pretty beat up from rocks etc... Should I have it bedlined instead? I did a search and came up with nothing.... is there a link where this has been tossed around?

Seems to me bedliner would offer a more accomodating finish.....paint would probably reflect every chip.

I ran aluminum diamond plate up the first foot or so...it'll look good for a couple of years.
