How to install an awning on a Palamino Bronco

I bought an 8' awning from JC Whitney to install on my 2002 Bronco 1200. I plan to attach the railing on the lower portion of the camper, not the roof section.

What I need to know, is there anything solid to screw the railing to near the top just above the window and directly beneath the molding strip. If so, would the frame be made of 2x2 lumber or aluminum tube. I need this information so I will know what screws to use. Wood screws or self tapping screws.

I checked with Palamino and found that there is wooden framework to attach the awning groove to just above the passenger side of the camper. Works great!

My fingers got to fast. LOL! What I meant to say was that there is wooden framework just above the window on the passenger side of the camper. I got it all hooked up and it works great
