2005 Jeep Liberty Sport CRD
128,xxx miles

Runs great, good gas mileage, turbo diesel, 4wd, cruise control, hitch. Great for road trips. Always used synthetic Rotella oil. Wired 120V outlet for charging phones, etc. Rear cargo area carpet was replaced with rubber for easy clean up. Rubber floor mats in front and rear seats. Hard wired MV-50 air compressor as well.

The MAF sensor is unplugged to deactivate the EGR valve and prevent the intercooler/intake being clogged. The check engine light is on because of this. Will go out when the sensor is plugged in. Also have a kit to eliminate check engine light, just never got around to installing it. The crankcase vent also dumps below the engine rather than back into the intake.

The one negative is the transmission shifts poorly from 2nd to 3rd. The computer has a bad value stored for the clutch fill volume so it shifts hard. It's done this off and on since I've had it. Reflashing the transmission computer and doing a self-learn will fix it for awhile and then it comes back. Replacing the TCM will fix it permanently, but it's never bothered me enough to fix.

I do have a dog so it's not immaculate inside. I drive with the rear seats folded nearly 100% of the time and the rubber mat in the back does a good job keeping it clean though.

Extras: custom welded 2 bike rack, roof rack cross bars, thermostat, serpentine belt, fuel filter, headlight bulb, CAT fuel filter adapter, 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers, Fumoto engine oil drain valve.

Maintenance History:

Pricing based on all Liberty CRD's for sale within 200 miles of Milwaukee, WI on autotrader.com and adjusted for mileage. I did a quick regression analysis and based on that the price should be $10k. This seems high based on the condition so price is $8,000. I am open to fly and drives and will drive it to you (ANYWHERE in the country, with deposit, if you cover my return flight). Will trade for a truck (plus cash on my end).

With the lift and tires it does mid 20's on the highway at 70 mph and ~20'ish in the city. Before the lift and A/T tires it did slightly better.

I am running 245/75-16 A/T's, a GDE Full-Tq Ecotune, and an OME lift. Fully loaded dragging the trailer back from the Black Hills at 70mph on the AC was 27.4mpg off the GPS.

They are great little trucks, even with the quirks.

Bump to the top and price drop to $7000. Bought a truck so this needs to go. Will take partial trade for a pop-up truck camper.
