Article on different camping setups

I know some of you are members of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association, but many are not. I wrote a story in the current issue of Toyota Trails about my experience finding the right balance between family, comfort and ruggedness. It is also available on line so I thought I would post the link.

This is all based on personal preference. If it was just me I would likely still have my AT Horizon trailer

Hope someone finds this useful

Good info Ken....thanks for sharing it and putting it in one spot.

Amazing how taste change and ideas evolve.....definitely feeling the same way.

So while you would prefer the AT Horizon (if it was just you), what is it you're currently using?

Actually, I prefer my current setup the Kimberley Kamper. If it was just me I wouldn't have felt the need to get something else, I am glad I did. You can see the details in the thread above and why I call it my Goldilocks Kamper.

I also have the Oztent I use with the Kamper for more people and I still have the ARB Simpson III for when times when the trailer isn't the best option
