M100 wheel bearings and grease seals are different than M416

Soooo, apparently the M100 and M416 have different wheel bearings, grease seals and races. They do both share the same nut size of 2 & 1/16". The wheel bearings for a M100 are part number Timken 18590, or NAPA 18590. The Race is 18520 & the Grease Seals are part number 21101. I happen to have an m100 axel and I learned all of this the hard way. By following everything in the M416 thinking they were the same.

The following are the part numbers for the bearings, races, seals, etc. for the Bantam T3 and T3-C, Willys MBT, and M100. I compiled the list when I restored my Bantam trailer.

4 ea. Cone and Roller Bearing, Timken 18590

4 ea. Roller Bearing Cup, Timken 18520

2 ea. Hub oil seal assembly, Spicer 17004

2 ea. Outer wheel bearing washer, Spicer 17015

2 ea. Outer wheel bearing nut, Spicer 17016

2 ea. Outer wheel bearing nut lock washer, Spicer 17017

The spring shackles and bushings are the same as all early CJ jeeps and WWII military jeeps.

Hope it helps.
