Maggiolina repair blues

One of the black plastic nuts on the wormscrew broke so I had to replace it. I ordered four new ones (they sold them as a kit) thinking it would be a good idea to change them all to new ones.
The broken one was the one closest to the turning handle (right corner in the back) and the easiest to change. Since the wormscrew changes direction in the middle you can't just unscrew the left nut to the right, the same way as the right one. So I had to ask Autohome how I'm supposed to change it.

This is their answer:
"In order to change the left nut, please follow the instruction here below:

Cut the wormscrew immediately after the dented crown, put the new nut on the wormscrew and then weld the dented crown on the final part of the wormscrew (make sure that the two pieces meet each other and form a unique straight line as they were before the cut).

Should you need further information, please contact us"

Nice and easy....

Good luck man. I wish I had an answer for you. I hope I never have that problem because I'm not a welder and don't know anyone who is.
