Hi Everyone,

We are Gwyn & Linzi from the UK.

We meet up with our Land Rover -named Kermit- in Chile next week and plan on taking around 18 Months to circumnavigate every country on the continent.

Hopefully depending on funds we hope to jump over to South Africa and then head back up to Europe. Lots of ideas up in the air about the next continent to conquer after South Am.

Safe Travels everybody

We have finally made it to Chile! But getting our truck out of port is somewhat of a headache.

Is it easy in any country?

We have had a massive snowball of events which has made us cancel our jump over to Easter Island. Our shipping line (hamburg-sud) pulled out of an agreement that would let us store our container in Chile for a week free of charge whilst we went to easter island. They pulled out when we were arranging it on this side, and storage costs would have been $2500 USD! which is ludicrous.

Hopefully the rest of our overlanding will be a lot less traumatic
