Hi all,
I have been a long time lurker and purchased a trailer at the beginning of the year. I use the trailer for camping and kayaking.

Below are some things I have done to start as well as some ideas for the future.

12v Electrical System
LED Lights (main box)
140 watt solar panel
Morningstar SS-20L-12V Solar Controller
Blue Sea Systems Battery Shut-off
Xantrex 1000 Watt Inverter
5 gang + lighter marine fused switches
Deltran Battery Tender
Marinco 12v inlet

48" x 16" Slide (full extension) 500lb Capacity
ARB 37
Yeti Tundra 35

Works in progress:
Paint/finish exterior
Install water tank/pump
Propane
Paint/seal plywood floor

Suggestions/advice/feedback welcome and appreciated.
Jeffrey

Wow. That's a very pretty trailer. I love the slide out for the yeti and the arb, thats something I have never seen before. Who made the trailer?

Thanks! The slide was actually pretty easy to make and cost me under $300 in parts. The trailer is made by VMI Offroad.

Nice and subscribed!

Any pictures of the electronics?

Thanks! The attached picture is actually temporary as I am redoing the front electrical box. I am adding a landscaping type trailer alarm. Most might think it is overkill, but I figure I will be leaving a lot of gear in the trailer and it is a very cheap mod. I will add more pictures once I finish the box.

So it has been a while since I updated...I thought I would share some of the latest additions.

21 gallon water tank, fill, hook up
Kayak paddle storage with track/slide
Alarm system light

Still in progress:
kitchen box (for slide above paddle storage)
venting (not sure how to do this)
paint
better alarm system (crimestopper too inconsistent)

Cool trailer!

Can you please share with us more about the alarm?

Thanks! After doing some research on trailer security, I found several sites/videos that suggest installing car alarms in landscaping trailers. Against my better judgement, I ordered a cheap 2-way Chrimestopper car alarm. I also bought 3 magnetic switches. It was fairly easy to do the wiring and worked great for a few weeks. Then the alarm started randomly arming, randomly going off, and finally completely failed (all common issues of the cheap alarm).

My plan is to buy a better, more reliable system such as Viper.
