Decided to just go ahead and do the ladder racks.

I think the best option would be to lengthen the tongue and put the motorcycle there, then run an equalizing hitch.

You could put it on the front of the jeep too, but I think between that and the trailer you would lose a lot of gas mileage on the long hauls.

Would I be able to "take that weight off the tongue" with an equalizing hitch?
