Bent Fender

I'm building my first trailer and just got my Jeep-style fenders in from Northern Tools. The inner lip towards the left side of both fenders have a bend in them that are nearly identical. Is this a normal part of the manufacturing process? Or did I just get bent fenders?

Looks like shipping damage, if you can support the under side of the fender and struck the fold down from the shallow side to the taller side of the lip it should lay out flat and pull the fender back straight

Thanks. I'll try hammering it out.

clamp it in a vise so you get a nice flat compression,

as the vise tightens the bend should be removed

hopefully the bend will work back out, if not some heat cant hurt added to the process

hammering might cause more flexing IMHO
