m416 lug nuts

Hey guy's ..got to ask.. when you swap out the stock tire's and wheel's and put on ..say ford wheel's do you still use the stock lug nut's?? if not what one are you using?? can i just use the stock nut's with the ford wheel's??

The original acorn nuts should be fine with steel wheels.
If you are useing aftermarket aluminum wheels they may require a different shoulder type to use.

Stock 416 wheels do not use acorn nuts. They use a weird flanged nut that works with the hub centric wheel. I can get a picture later.

When I go to a standard style lug centric steel wheel I change to acorn nuts.

I stand corrected the M416 has a flanged lug nut and mounts flat on the rim.
The rim has no dish on the stud holes. Ford, jeep and aftermarket wheels would require a new set of lug nuts.

thanks guy's...just put new lug nut that work with the ford wheel's..goes down the road much better!!! thanks again
