R50 Pathfinder - mild build

Good tips! I've since played around a bit and found that one U-Bolt in the centre holds it perfectly solid.
I will take a look at it and see where to drill those drain holes.

Looks good. It's nice that your roof rack crossbars hold the weight of the jack. The U-bolt just keeps it from moving.

I see that the tongue is really close to your paint. How much clearance do you have there?

Thanks.
It has about 1cm clearance. I noticed that too but it is compelled solid with absolutely no movement or flex.
I've also added 2 LED strips to each side of the ceiling of my trunk that turn on via a switch in the trunk.

Hi did you have to add any braces and such that tie into the structural part of the body?
What type hardware did you used for the mounting.

Carrier mounted.
Drilling into the sheet metal was nerve wrecking. I was terrified I would screw up and the holes wouldn't align. But in the end it all worked out.

Then I relocated the license plate.

And mounted a hi-lift for $4 worth of U-bolts.

Hey I know this is an old build but I just wanted to let you know this truck is now in woodstock. More of a ghost of its former glory but hopefully it will be hitting the trails again soon
