So since we are on holiday routine till the 6th of jan and only standing 1 in 4 duty plans are: to pull my trailer into the hangar to dry out (we have had pretty much 2 straight months of rain everyday), remove the inside panels, then take some measurements for insulation, then start to wire in and mount my 5 exterior (3 on the rightside and 2 off the rear) LEDs that I got from blitzpro. Have to see how much I can actually get done with my hand still healing up from having a tumor moved in November.
Pile of crap that needs to go in

Prayers for your hand. Glad to see you are using Blue Sea and Ancor wire for projects. I've had excellent results with those brands.
I like the concept of multi-use objectives. I did that with a 5x8 cargo. Don't skimp on insulation or vents

Got some work done on the trailer today. Pulled it into the hangar and pulled all my duck hunting gear out of it.

Started to take all the panels out. Man was there a lot of gaps on the floor and frame

And check out this wiring

Took measurements for insulation, haven't decided on which kind of insulation I will be using. But, I will need to spray foam the edge where the floor meets the frame of the trailer.

Next step will be to mock up where I want my lights and start mounting them and do some proper wiring.

Well the last couple days have been productive. Got my flood lights mounted and wired up.

So here is a look at my wiring.

I also ran wire for two dome lights that will go to a third switch and power for a fantastic fan that im still waitining to get. But, this will make it easier for me to add those in the future by not having to remove the side panels again. All i will have to do is hook them upto the power and ground then add a fuse in the corresponding slt. As well as a 12v socket and a duel slot USB charging port up forward. Just waiting to figure out what kind of insulation I'm going to use and I still need to get a battery box to mount on the tongue. It will house the old spare battery that I will use for now and my blue seas fuse block. All switches will be held in a three switch holder made for the OTRATTW switches.

Nice project, I'm looking to do something similar with my 6 x 12. More of a mild expy/tool trailer and still maintain max cargo ability.
A good source of wiring stuff is Mombo Automotive on ebay, free shipping- USPS Priority to AK, there are some other vendors on there that will ship free or USPS to AK.
Still working on some shelving/folding bunk set up. Keep it rolling, and keep em flying.

THanks for the heads up man, I will have to look in to that. Once the insulation and panels are back in I will have a fold down bed coming down off of the left side.

Got a new battery box today from a buddy. It's made for a trolling motor battery but I took it off of his hands for him. It has some pretty cool features.

My temporary battery. I will eventually upgrade to something better. But I will be mounting my blue seas fuse panel to the top off the lid.

It has tow integrated circuit breakers. A 10amp for the two cigaret lighter slots on each side of the lid and a 60 amp main for the exterior terminals.

Has a push to test to see the level of the battery

Looks awesome man, I'm excited to watch you build this.

I just picked up a 5x10 (Jeff Wanamog's). You have some stuff I would like to add. Is your awning in the picture above at its max extension to the ground?

This should make it easier to back up now, I got tired of just guessing what was behind me at night. The problems of having tinted rear window and tinted shell windows.

Needs a LIFE!
I'm looking at getting a 7x14 enclosed for a trip to check out your work space... well not your area but the one that can carry a bunch of things and has 4 engines!

I plan on setting it up for bunks and storage...

Truck and trailer are both looking good. Is there a way to bypass the reverse gear and turn on the camera while driving so you could monitor the trailer if wanted?
