255/75/17 on a Gen 3?

I found a great deal locally on some 2014 Jeep Rubicon tires. They are 255/75/17 BFG Mud Terrains Load Range C I believe. I would also like to run H&R 30mm spacers. Will this set up work without rubbing? Anyone run this size tire?

Should be similar to this. I have 255/85/16 with 2" lift and zero offset rims

Tire size is fine, not sure I'd bother with the spacers thou. The 255/75R17 are an inch + shorter (32") than the 255/85R16 (33"+).

That's a small tire. I've been running mine on 255/85r16 (33.5") with spacers. I would highly recommend against those tires. The sidewalls are crazy weak. I've seen them go flat driving... not impressed.

Your profile doesn't say where you are, but be aware that those tires SUCK in the wet and snow- "Wooden shoes on a boat ramp" is the phrase that comes to mind from a Rubicon owner. If they're cheap enough, they'd be an ok summer tire. Shouldn't be any worse for sidewall strength than whatever AS highway tire comes on most of the Gen 3's.
