Gen 2.5 front bumper question

Howdy all
Posted this in my build thread but didn't get any hits.
I'm trying to add some off road lights the front of my bumper and wondering how to remove the silver plate in the middle of the bumper. It looks like to remove it I have to take the whole bumper off to get at the nuts. Anyone remove this portion or has seen how these come apart?

I'm currently healing from surgery on my ankle so working on my Montero is a long process, i.e. get out all the tools I need put them under the car, lower myself off my scooter or crutches and wiggle under car. Everything takes a long time lately.

You can access the five 10mm nuts that hold that on the bumper by simply removing the skid plate.

Awesome, thanks Jay. Can't wait to shimmy under the truck and pull the skid plate (also gives me a chance to look at making a pattern for a beefed up front skid :sombrero:-bonus)
