Yep finally got me an affordable crewcab. Current specs are as follows. 1985 Dodge D350 crewcab 440, 727,d60.

The plan for this build is to use my 90 as a donor, we will be doing a 4x4 conversion and drop my fresh 12v, NV4500, 205 setup in. We will also be using the jungle shackle flip setup on this truck.

Nice! That will be the truck Dodge should have built from the get-go. Did all the 2wd crew cabs have long (8') beds? Seems like all the 4x4 crews were short beds during that era.

Looking forward to this one.

Yep, a whopping 165" wheelbase. Not all the 2wd were long beds. But all 4x4s were shorts. Im gonna make it so it can handle my 74 Winnebago 11.5' slide in.

I still dont understand why dodge didn't dig the tooling back out for the crewcab and offer them when the introduced the cummins

Glad you found a crew cab, looks like a good one. It will be awsome with all the parts from your reg cab. There is nothing better than a big diesel crew cab!

Gonna be a monster.

What kind of trips you planning? Would make a nice rig for surf-fishing. But not a lot of that in Nebraska.

It will be a monster. I dont have any trips currently planned but I do have friends and family all over the country that I could visit.I also now have a pretty serious gf now and the family might grow. My dually is everything I need in a truck as of now but it still is only a 2 person vehicle however a very comfortable 2 perspn vehicle. The extra room of a crewcab will serve very well.
