What did you use to seal the edge angle/trim?
I will be using the same method and was planning on either PL premium or sika flex

I can see the finish

Don’t mind the nasty looking aluminum, scratched/scuffed/smudged, it was inevitable having scratches transporting/ having the metal shop guys bending it in a break, mounting it all by myself was awkward too :S

Ive been doing a lot of research on airstream forums about sanding/polishing/buffing aluminum, ive done a couple of test runs in some spots to see what will work, but that is going to be a HUGE job, so i will probably just enjoy this thing for the summer and tackle the aluminum in the winter

Spent the last couple of weeks installing and finalizing lights and wires on the exterior, putting on doors/windows, got the electrical in the tongue box wrapped up, along with some other odds and ends

Here you can see the extra post in front of the fender which i have plans to cradle a spare tire

Far from done this box and its components but its a good start

Vent close to PD battery charger to keep it cool and a 110 shoreline inlet for it

Another vent on the opposite side to promote some flow through ventilation, put this one down low in case of propane tanks off-gassing

Here’s the first signs of progress on the roof, really happy with the fantastic fan; although i might have to let some air out of the tires and have someone standing on the hitch to pull it out of the garage, clearance is tight
Those are Thule tracks that are fastened and sealed, same as what i have on my truck canopy, have to make a bracket out of aluminum yet for the solar panel that will mount into the track system
Also have a rhino rack batwing 270 awning that will go onto roof racks all using the same tracks

But that all has to wait until the snow all goes away for good and its nice enough to work outside because it will no longer fit in and out of the garage with the rest of the roof hardware on it

Sorry for delayed response the sidewall is 4x8 sheet of plywood with 3 out of 4 of the corners cut off to make it less “boxy” more aerodynamic all the angles you see are 45’s to make things easy, not sure of the measurements of the cut out off hand but if u are seriously interested you can message me and ill take some measurements to share with you

Are you planning on fixing your incorrect spring hangers/shackles? Somewhat dangerous to leave them like that especially if the bushings have wear on them.

Yes that is the first order of business! Got the hangers cut out already, there has already been a crack in the backward hanger welds that i have repaired once so far
