Had to relocate the heater lines. I didn't want rubber hose all over the engine bay. So I don't know. It'll work for now.

Just finished soldering all the pipe joints. This is it. Looks kind of funny. Need to do a build some brackets to hold it in place. Getting closer.

I got some more done. Installed the radiator, fuel pump is plumbed, and started getting some other odd and ends tied up.

Do keep an eye on that copper plumbing. It's prone to fatigue cracking from vibration. I know in the marine world it's a non-started per USCG specs to use copper plumbing on an engine.

Built a small rack to hold my aux relays and fuses for my Range Rover. There will run a lift pump and auxiliary lights.

Finally made some real progress on this. I resealed the transfercase. Cleaned it up and painted it. I'm looking for a parking brake solution for it as well.

Last night I got the Transfercase installed. I bench pressed it into place. I didn't want to scratch the paint with my jack. It's the small things.

So I'm going to get the exhaust finished next and then the drivelines. I'm looking for an aluminum radiator for it as well.

Some pictures.

Some pictures of the clean up

I didn't take a lot. I'm bad at that. I'm one of those guys that just wants to get the job done.

This NP241D has a fixed rear yoke. So that was nice. It makes it a lot shorter the the original NP205 that was on the donor truck.

Radiator showed up. Gave it a quick test fit. I'll need to trim the crossmember and lower it down further.

Parts have been showing up. Radiator fans, transmission kit and the body lift.

I'll be installing the body lift today and tomorrow.

Nice! Hell of a project you have going. That rig is going to be almost new when you are done! Nothing like having your own work for known reliability and to chase gremlins in the event they show up. I was doing some classic cars back in the day that I would own for a while and then sell. I was so tired of chasing bandaid fixes from the previous owners; I ended up finding a problem and would literally replace the entire system new or retromod if able to ensure reliability. Wiring was the biggest issue and its so easy to get complete harnesses now.

Look forward to seeing your build on the road and some off-road pictures in the future!

Installed the body lift. It took about two hours. Now I have all the clearance I need.

One less thing to do now. Made some mounting tabs for the aluminum radiator and then had my friend tig weld them onto the radiator. I did one of them. Can you spot it. Fits in perfect now.

I got a lot done today.

I started with driveshafts. I combined parts of Chevy and Range Rover. I was amazed that all the parts slid into each other. It was really easy to fabricate the rear. The front took more time. I didn't take picture of the process. I never do anymore.

After the paint dries for a few days I'll install them.

Then my hose kit showed up. I've been trying to figure out a good solution for months. I finally stumbled across this. And it works great.

The top was easy. Bottom took more work.

Hey I have been following you as you do this...I am installing a 4.3l in my 88 RRC right now. Could I ask for more pictures of what the truck looks with the body lift? It looks like it is a 2 inch, would that be correct? I am just worried about what it will look like with on but I really could use the clearance. I am just not a fan of the gap it brings or being able to see the frame.
