Expo ZJ Part 3

Thanks, I searched a long time for an Orvis this clean. It needs some work. I just replaced most of the coolant system. Needs a door actuator and some other stuff. 117K miles, and I'm wanting to hit 400K before it's all said and done. This will be my baby for a long time!

Clean interior for sure. Why stop at 400K?

WP_20150727_007.jpgFinally got to clean up the interior of the zj and inspect a little closer today. All power windows and locks work as they should. The Orvis tire cover is all intact and the zipper works good, and it provides a good storage area. And someone did change out the leather Orvis seats for cloth. They are in decent shape and overall the interior is in decent condition. So im happy so far. Here are a few pics.WP_20150727_005.jpgWP_20150727_006.jpg

I put the pet divider in, a cage type covering over the pass side rear window. Gives me a spot to attach some pouches and other small items. I also attached my brush axe, an led utility light and a small 3 pocket molle pouch to the rear hatch. I have a few pics. WP_20150802_002.jpg

I picked up a set of the stock steel jeep wheels today. 50 dollars for the set and no complaints. Ive had these same type on my jeeps before. They can hold up to some abuse and I love the recessed valve stem so its protected from offroad hazards. WP_20150803_001.jpgWP_20150803_002.jpg

So I found a decent bumper for the zj on my local Craigslist along with the rims. The bumper has a front recvr hitch too and a grill guard. For 20 bucks and an old tool box I had kicking around, I made out pretty good. The guy I got it from had it on his xj. But I measured everything out and it will fit. I did get my Garmin etrex GPS, the 400 watt power inverter and the auxillary cigarette power adapter with usb mounted the other day. Having the glove box up higher on the dash gives me more space to install needed items on the passengers side. 00A0A_cQhfqWNnD5E_600x450.jpgI realized its been a while since I updated my post. Nothing really has changed on the progress of the Jeep. I did pick up a set of 235/75/15 Duratracs on the old school turbine rims. But im not crazy about em so going to swap the tires over to the stock steelies. Heres a couple pics of the tires/rims.00o0o_2hjVMkWCx59_600x450.jpg I will eventually go with 31s.

I love those rims! they will look sweet on the "orv". Btw didn't some orvis come with some type of canvas on the seats as well?
