Unrelated to the flip pac (which is a super impressive build) : is that an aev snorkel? Noticed any huge mpg or sound differences since putting it on?
Also got a 1500 ecodiesel and I'm thinking hard about the aev with the prefilter more so for the California dust then severe water crossings.

Nope it's a $30 head..3in abs a rubber 3in elbow and some flex downspouting..total thing was $50..

I've seen 1.5-3mpg increase...love the intake woosh I can hear!! But that's only sub 35mph with passenger window open.

Love my eco!! Closing in on 100k!! Get the GDE tune man...I kicked myself for waiting till 65k

From Dayton here! Like your design and ingenuity. My dad lives in Marysville and we are both getting into overlanding. I have an LJ and Commander and he has a grand Cherokee. Looking forward to getting out soon as the weather breaks.

phew, just went through the whole thread. I'm really impressed at the jump in quality from the first tent to the second, nice work! If you were doing it again, would you still use waterproof fabric, or use something more breathable? (or a mix?)
