Good clean find! Looks Like the previous owner had some fun swapping in parts from a 13-14 on the exterior. I've got a 2014 Lariat short bed with the EcoBoost and LOVE it. You won't be disappointed.

The PO had the truck under a lease

It was a mid year build, so I have documentation that the outside 2013 parts were used, but I still got the 2012 title, and the 2012 motor (ei, smaller turbos)

Shes a Beaut! Love that color...

Highly suggest taking a look at proclip (noticed your phone is on the shelf). I have a couple of them and now I put them in all my vehicles. Also suggest getting the universal mount. That way if you get a new phone or add a case/change the case your not sol and have to buy a new one.

What is the size of the factory rear leaf spring block on these trucks?

I know the front has a small leveling spacer ontop of the strut, but the rear looks to have a taller-than stock block also......maybe like a small 2"-3" overall lift?

The rear block is 3-1/8" tall

Stock is 1-1/4

Along with the front leveling kit, the truck has a 2" lift over stock..... This with the 34" tires is a good DD and expo combo!

The max tow and 3.73s are nice

I don't think they are in business anymore, which is a shame...........small company, making awesome prodcuts

"Heavy duty receiver shackle mount made from solid steel. Designed to with stand the exteme demands of recovery and towing operations. These are approximately 3 times stronger than cast parts. Features two 5/8 inch through holes for attaching to the receiver hitches and one 7/8 inch hole for a shackle pin."

Kit Includes:
1 Receiver
1 Bow shackle 4.75 Ton

Specifications:
Material: 1018 cold rolled steel
Finish: Clear zinc
Length: 6.125 inches
Width: 2 inches
Thickness: 2 inch
Weight: 5.14 pounds

I bought one of these YEARS ago and am amazed at the high quality of this unit. I love how heavy duty the mount is, because it is solid 2" square piece.

I have beat the snot out of this mount and shackle with my last truck, a Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins

A fresh coat of paint and I will install it tomorrow

How is everyone having spray on liner applied to the tailgate on these trucks?

Removed the plastic and remove the load step bar/handle and have it sprayed or just have the bed sprayed?

Looking to have the bed sprayed with LineX,just not sure what to do with the tailgate

, I had a full pallet (144) plus 6 more pavers in the bed today

2,100 pounds plus the pallet and plus the weight of the cap

Yes the truck sagged, but it was not maxed out and handed amazingly well, even at 70 MPH

Very impressed for a half ton

I was digging around under the hood tonight, realizing how dirty my air filter got in 5,000 miles...........and found something

Behind this rubber splash guard

I found this small black box

IMG_20151128_223904900_zpsria3h74a.jpg

The box is marked "MOTO" and "MORIMOTO".........seems like a ballast box

Is this a FOMOCO part or an aftermarket HID box?

I ordered a set of Motorcraft Iridium (SP-534) plugs from Rock Auto

Crazy cheap compared to everyone else, like $4.02 each

With a 5% off order coupon code, its a cheap plug change

My gas mileage is pretty bad, in my opinion...........14.4-14.6

Truck has 22,000 miles on it, so I am going to swap in new plugs, new drop in air filter, and change the oil/filter (Mobil One Synthetic)

I am going with a .030 gap, because from what I read this is what the SP534 come pre-gapped to?

I absolutely love this truck. Good choice with the 6.5' bed. I couldn't imagine having a truck with anything shorter. Makes me want to trade mine in.

I would expect better mileage as well. I'm seeing about 19 out of my 04 4.6. 3.55 gears and a lighter truck might be helping me. This also makes me curious as what to expect when I install my 20" wheels and new gears.

The new Purolator filter was supposed to have deeper pleats

At this point in time, I will not blindly buy a $400 CAI

There is no point right, other than to gain sound

I will stock with the cheap Purolator drop in for now, but I am highly considering the4 drop in AEM. For $40 shipped, it MIGHT flow better than most CAI kits are capable of

http://www.aemintakes.com/search/product.aspx?prod=28-20385

I sent AEM an email to see if they test the CFM for this drop in

Air Filter Material Non-woven Synthetic
Air Filter Shape Panel
Filter Material Non-woven Synthetic
Height 2.188 in (56 mm)
Outside Length 10.5 in (267 mm)
Outside Width 9.875 in (251 mm)
Package Contents 1 Air Filter
Package Quantity 1
Product Box Height 11.7 in (297 mm)
Product Box Length 10.4 in (264 mm)
Product Box Width 2.6 in (66 mm)
Product Style AEM Dryflow Panel Air Filter
Weight 1.9 lb (0.9 kg)

I am trying to research CFM requirements for the motor and start listing CFM capabilities of various filters

I know on my old gasser 4.7L Dakota, a larger TB really woke the truck up, even with stock tuning and an aftermarket CAI

I believe that BBK right now makes a 73MM TB

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BBK-1822/

http://www.bbkperformance.com/produ...7l-50l-truck-performance-throttle-bodies.html

BBK sells a 73MM and an 85MM, but the 85MM is way too much

The stock TB bore is 62MM
