1986 280Ge, anyone know about this truck?

Found this posting on West Country Explorers Club website, its from April of last year. Anyone know about the truck or where it went? It looks fantastic! Would love to track one down like this in the near future.

If you're willing to buy a gasser, a sorted one out of Germany without crazy miles can be had for less than 10k. Add shipping and import, hell, even a trip to go see it first, and you're at half of what they're asking. Diesel ones are a little tougher to find, or will have more milage on them. I think a nice G 350D is the answer for me. Have to wait a little longer...

I test drove this truck... Wasn't a bad unit but it was gutless ...really gutless but it was also my first G to drive in Seattle area traffic. Body was ok no real issues seen past the price being asked on it. Park Place is known for interesting cars but reasonably priced is not in their vocabulary I think the asking price was 40K + but that was a year ago. Looks like the link shows 35K ish. Im sure someone purchased it
