14hr Flight. Which ext. batt. for iPad (orig), iPod touch 4, & Ultrabook (Asus UX31)?

Will be going on a trip to Australia for business. Anyone have suggestions for powering my iPad (1st gen @ 5v, .5 amp), iPod Touch (4th gen), & Asus UX31 ultrabook (19vdc @ +2a) during that flight (~14hrs). I won't be in Business/1st class where I could have had access to on board power plugs. Usage will be for movies, reading books, etc.

I'm thinking most of the time I'll use my iPad/iPod but may also do some work on the laptop (photo processing or watching movies I didn't have room on my iPad for).

I'm looking at 2 battery systems in the <$100 range since this will be infrequently used. Those are the iSound Portable Power Max 16000mAh & the New Trent iCruiser IMP1000 11000mAh external battery packs.

Any suggestions, feedback/experiences or alternatives are appreciated.

TIA,

Ray

Maybe you could kindly ask somebody in business if you could plug in your ipod for a couple hours, maybe even a flight attendant if your friendly ;)

Yeah, I'd rather not have to rely on doing that and have a fool proof solution instead, but thanks for the idea. Any other idea's or recommendations for power packs?

TIA!

Are you planing on running them all at once? The only thing I could think of I'd the rechargeable battery packs that you could plug a USB into, some have adapters for other stuff. I don't know how well they work though. I bought a USB charger that uses 4AA batteries in Iraq it works well enough for my iPhone I can get 1-2 full charges out of a set of lithium battery's. However, it won't charge up my wife's iPad. I also haven't seen them anywhere else. Do you have any layovers? Most of the time you can find a few plug ins at the airport do you can charge all of your stuff up. On amazon the Duracell charger gets decent reviews it's like 20-30 bucks. Good luck to ya
