A few hours of parking lot upgrades and reorganizing yesterday. Changed a few things in the passenger, front cooler storage compartment.

- Propane tank mounted in Powertank bracket. Old Jeep JK safari rack setup. Using available top storage space and saving useful floor space.
- Log splitter and axe mounted on side wall, using those Fist clamp thingys.
- 40 quart Grizzly Cooler is very easily accessible now.
- Added a plastic tub for firewood storage. Holds 4-5 bundles of wood. Easily removed to put near the fire pit.

Busy 8 hours of projects day.
● Removed TracVision A5 satellite TV dish, permanently (selling satellite, mounts, receiver and all accessories, if anyone knows someone).
● Cleaned area, found a small roof leak and sealed everything up.
● Next is a good roof cleaning, once sealer dries completely.
● Removed older PIAA lights from the camper and installed the 2nd pair of matching LEDs. Bumper LEDs will keep the defuser covers. Upper lights will keep the clear covers, for serious long range daylight. Bring on the night!!

Planned to mount my 2 Rotopax water packs on the exterior, but found a good, convenient spot for them inside the passenger rear storage.

A man after my own heart. I've got a 99 Fuso FG Service Body with a 94 Northstar TS1000 camper.

I'm in the home stretch of finishing my service body rig and am trying to figure out the best way of fixing the camper to the bed, Could you please share some info how yours is tied down? Mine is SRW but I'm tying to get some ideas. Thanks!

Mine is currently bolted-down directly through the camper floor to the service body bed. I have looked at other tie down options, for when I choose to remove the camper and do some service body bed maintenance. The extended/flip-out camper corner brackets seem to be the best option to allow for tie down as well as camper jack installation.

Depending on where the camper sits in the bed, you would have to determine the best, solid anchoring points for tie downs as well. Service body box skin can be thin and easily dented/pulled/distorted.

Thanks for the reply, mine has different style jack plate/ tie down points than the corner style you speak of but I agree that would probably make it pretty easy since the camper corners would line up with the bed corners. I'm pretty stoked I'm at least able to leave these jack plates attached as it would be an adventure to get it in and out of the bed! I have some tie down ideas though I'll let ya know what wins in the end.

Great looking setup. Very form fitting to the service body. Look forward to the finished dealio.

Thanks! I just talked with Bryan at Alaskan campers (who's awesome) about how they do their service body rigs and they usually bolt through the floor too, but we got to discussing options and now Im liking the idea of going through the side of the camper which he thinks is a great idea and said his dad did it on a rig in the past. It'd also be a bonus to access the fittings from the side compartments
