2002 Diesel Bus SOLD
Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my bus and figured that I'd give it a go on here.
I purchased the bus in 2010 and converted it into a party bus which I had as a side business. I've gotten too busy with my regular job that I no longer have time to do the party bus gig. It's been sitting in my driveway for the past year and I start it up and drive it around the block every few months. Some info on the bus:
-2002 Bluebird TC2000 (Just short of 24' in length)
-5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel with approximately 145,000 original miles.
-Auto trans with Hydraulic Brakes. I have no issues getting this bus up to 70+ mph on the freeway.
-Bus has a short wheel-base so it's easy to drive around turns and makes it a little easier to park.
-The entry door on the bus is electric, not air-powered, and works well.
-All windows and electric opening door are limo-tinted.
-The couches are custom made and composed of steel framing all welded together (no screws, bolts, or rivets. The only bolts are the ones used to tightened the frames to the ground). 1" plywood was laid on the frame and covered with 3 different types of foam. The couches were then wrapped with heavy duty, water proof, synthetic material. The foam has a 15year warranty and the stitching on the fabric has a lifetime warranty from the local shop that performed the work.
-The audio system is composed of 4 focal 8" speakers, 4 R12 Subwoofers each with their own individual wooden boxes, 2 alpine 4-way aps for the speakers, and 2 alpine 1000 amps for the 4 subs. There is also a rear-view camera wired through the roof with a front display monitor. All the work was professional installed by Beach Auto Sound in Huntington Beach, CA.
-LED light strips with over 150 settings are located underneath each of the couches (The light stripe under the passenger side couch is damaged and will need to be replaced. It's about $150 for a quality LED replacement strip.) There is also a multi-function laser located at the front of the bus that shoots light towards the rear.
The flooring is composed of water-resistant tiger wood bamboo.
-Bus is equipped with a 5500 watt Cummin Onan Gas Generator with approximately 20 hours of use. The AC system is a Mach 6 low profile 15000 BTU unit (black color). It's practically brand new, the generator and AC were purchased new in 2013 and installed by Dennis Dillon RV Center in Westminster, CA. I used it only on one trip to go to Las Vegas that summer for EDC. The generator is fueled by a small 6gallon marine fuel tank that's located at the rear of the bus. You have to remove the marine tank to refuel it and then mount it again. It's inconvenient, but takes only a few minutes to do.
-Bus is currently sitting on black rims in the rear and chrome rims in the front. I have matching chrome rims for the rear with tires that will come with the bus. The front tires are in good shape and the rear tires have been re-treaded, but should probably be replaced soon.
-The brakes were serviced less than 5000 miles ago and a new HO Alternator was installed.
-Bus has 3 Deep Cycle Marine batteries. One is used to run the audio system while the bus is not running.
The bus is in overall good mechanical condition. It was purchased in Maine and driven to Southern California where it currently resides. There was slight surface rust, but nothing bad. The bus drove across the country with no issues and I've taken it to Las Vegas and back several times without any problems. I have over $45k invested into this bus, but I just don't have a need for it anymore. I was thinking of converting it into a camper, but I have a Nissan Pathfinder that I use for all my roadtrips and will probably purchase a trailer to tow behind it and sleep in so that I don't lose my offroad ability as I would if I converted this bus into my camper.
If you would like specific pictures of certain things then just let me know.
SOLD
Thanks for looking,
Drew
