I think part of OUR confusion was simply in definitions. English is so imprecise at times. I love the flexibility for writing in the language but sometimes....
In my post I was referring to a Shootist as a pure holes in paper, splashing clays, or pool balls enthusiasts. One who learns the skills for pure entertainment or entertaining.
A hunter is one that takes those skills and has to contend with the psychological aspects of the application of those said skills on a living target and not a bell at 800 yards.
