The 10th gen in the crash was a Supercab, not a Supercrew. The Supercab does not have a pillar between the doors where they meet. The Supercrew does have the pillar the same as the Expedition making the cab much stronger. It's one of the reasons I purchased the Screw over the Scab.

put 200 on the rig today. LOVED it. 100kmh winds heavy rains were no match...just motored on through. The wind was so high that the wipers would not go all the way to the left when on! ha ha.
