275/70/18 on LR3

The LR3 got some new shoes today. All pictures are in normal height with lift from IID (can't remember how much sorry). No rubbing during normal driving. Will have to heat up rear liner and move plastic in a bit more where pinch seams were.

Niiiice.

Unrelated note: Did you add the sensors to your rear bumper or did it come like that? EDIT: answered the second question, deleted.

The sensors were removed from stock and put in the provided holes in the bumper. With that said they don't work right now because they sense the rear tire swing out. I have to adjust them to see if I can get them to perform correctly.

Looks great. Makes me want to get rid of my 19's tomorrow. ;)

Do you have spacers as well? If not, do you think you'd still need to adjust the rear fenders if you did?

Thanks.

No spacers don't need them as it will cause more problems with rubbing outer fender well once stuffed off-roading. I believe with spacers you would still have to clearance the inner fenders in the rear.

Thinking of getting the same tire in 275-55-20. How is the road noise? My other choice is the Cooper AT3, but the BFG's looks much meaner!

I definitely wouldn't add spacers, it will only cause more problems for rubbnig. On my LR4 I have 18" lr3 wheels with 1.25" spacers and 285/65/18 and you definitely have to clearance the back of the fenders since the wheel is pushed out more.

That's too bad. I like the stance of the LR3 with spacers (like the Matzker), but definitely not worth the look if it causes more issues

I don't hear the road noise over the wind noise from my roof rails at all.
