For anyone interested in a Foxwing, Amazon has a few left for $512.

I recently put one on my little 4x6 cargo trailer and it is a quality unit. Setup and takedown was a lot less work than I was expecting, too.

Thanks for the tip! Have you seen any screen walls for these awnings?

Alu Cab Shadow Awning, pole less for quick stops or you can drop the poles and install the wall kit which has windows with bug screen and doors.

Can you show how this would mount to a 2.5M Hannibal rack? Also how it mounts to a dual or triple cross bar set-up. I have an idea that one could use a heavy gauge aluminum angle mounted to the cross bar ends. Then that becomes the psudo side rail for mounting the awning. This idea removes the need for a 60-80 lb rack that is mostly covered up by a RTT anyway. It also removes the noise and drag from such racks and weight, etc. I love the rack but have realized it isn't always really needed just sitting in between other things.

I just bought an Alu-cab Awning for my Disco4 with Prospeed roof rack. Just waiting for the awning brackets to come in this week and I'll post up pics.

You don't need to quote all the photos!

You still on dial up or something? It's a bit of a pet peave of mine as well, leftover from my days on dial up when cropping unnecessary crap from a post was just considered good form, but these days it doesn't really matter all that much though I still find it a bit annoying and lazy.

I've had people tell me "no such thing" when I tell them the first modem I ever used was a 300 bd acoustic. Now THAT'S when bandwidth was a freakin issue. :)

Has anyone created or found a solution that allows the awning to be mounted on a trailer and then when at camp raise the mouths up so the height of the awning is above your head? So down when driving, up when camping. The trailer i am looking at has a rack on top with a RTT, but then current mounting to the rack would be around 5'2".

Our Turtleback has a mount system that is raised when in camp and lowered for the road.

1" square tubing in a sleeve mounted to the trailer.

You can see in the photos...
