Canadian here; currently researching 3rd gens - up here, we can import JDM vehicles that are 15 years or older. There's a few dealers where I live that specialise in JDM import, and I've seen a few ads for Hilux Surfs with low miles, of which many have the 1KZ turbodiesel.
I've done a ton of research on North American 3rd gens and their options/attributes/issues, but I can't find as much info on the JDM Surfs. Where can I learn more info on all the differences and technical details? For example, do these have the same multi-mode transfer case options, final drive ratios, rear locker availability, etc?
