I've had this for a couple years but only used a few times. it has about 50 hours of actual deployed time on it. it measures 15.4 x 21.3 x 2.0 in. and is 8.6 lbs. Folds up nicely, has an adjustable stand to adjust angle plus it has a cloth cover than separates the panels when they are folded. i started out with tiny 7w panels, then 14w, then 20w and then the 55 watt. once nice feature is it has a MPPT controller which is detachable (it wasn't originally but i added weatherpack connectors) in case you have a stand alone controller. if you don't you can use the MPPT one. last time i used it was death valley. given its size and power it is hard to beat. i am going with a bigger (35lb) solar setup now, although not near as portable.

i added a harness to connect it to standard battery tender jacks as well as a harness to charge via your vehicle's cigarette/12v accessory plug.

i paid $299. would like $215.

They have a newer version out now which is rated at 60w instead of 55w. its $400.

hi,

i just cut the wires between the controller and panel and put connectors on them. that way i can run the panel direct to my vehicle's controller or use the aspect solar one. its already gone so i can't take a picture but i just used GM weatherpack connectors. aspect solar makes an adapter to charge a battery if you are using their MPPT controller. their controller is only designed to charge the sunsocket by default. if you have one of their panels i still have the charging adapter cable i bought to connect it to my vehicle.
