Looks good, tire flip out looks awesome

Thanks. You definitely need to "man up" to get it out but it's totally doable. Hope to not need the spare but still easier to get to than under the box.

Sweet! The sliders go on the side and not the bed lol. jk. I love the spare tire hinge. Maybe add a strut to aid in flipping it out. Also maybe a stopper to the slider instead of the bedside.
How do you lift the rack with the tent in it?

Ya the "sliders" would actually be perfect length for a regular cab short box first gen pickup lol. The tire doesn't quite hit the bed. It has its own stop. As for a strut there just isn't quite enough room to add one in and honestly it's low on my priorities list. The rack lifts with assistance from 4 54 lbs gas struts. It works okay but not as well as I had hoped. Next step will be 12v linear actuators but I need to research how to control them properly and summer is my busiest time so it won't be tackled until next winter but it's mostly for the annex and as I don't have kids yet it isn't a big deal either.

Thanks for the compliments. I added a small ammo box from Cabelas to the chainsaw rack to hold bar oil, spare chain and chainsaw tools. Gonna pick up one more for beside the saw to hold my first aid kit.

Added one more box for my first aid kit. I figure this way it's accessible even if the doors are locked. The 5L Jerry can also fits on the rack nicely as well.

Got a buddy of mine to make me some Instagram decals. Might have gone a little big on the tailgate but I'll leave it for now. Wouldn't go that big on my daily driver but it kinda works on this.

Went out camping for the weekend. First trip out with the new rack/ organization was a success.

Did some wheeling which overall was easy since the frost is still in the ground about 6-8" down.

Also weighed the beast. It's is loaded with all my gear, tent, food, water, beer, me and a buddy (500 lbs total) and my 85lbs lab and 3/4 fuel. Front and rear axels actually came in identical at 3488 lbs each with total weight being 6966 lbs. The scale is in kg's. I still need to redesign a rear bumper which could save another 100ish pounds but I guess not too bad. Definitely need to do something with the rear suspension tho.

Went out on another trip for the August long weekend. Truck performed very well. I'm definitely sold on RTT camping. Even had 2 hours of torrential down pour and stayed dry. Loving having a fairly well organized camping setup as well. Still a few things to fine tune but I can be packed and ready to go in 20 minutes.

Were you coming off the Henday tonight onto St Albert trail around 830ish tonight? It was dark... but I am pretty sure I saw your front bumper looking at me!
