In 1916, two sisters, Augusta and Adeline Van Buren, became the first women to ride motorcycles across the USA. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the trip, the Sisters' Centennial Motorcycle Ride will travel from Brooklyn to San Francisco July 3-23.
Space is still available for women or men to participate in sections of the ride or day trips.
