16" wheel for Sterling rear axle swap...

I have a 99 Sterling 10.5 I am getting ready to swap in. My question is wheels. I have a 97 Quigley. I know I will need an adapter for the front axle. I initially thought I could use 16" Excursion wheels. Superduty trucks came with 16" wheels so I assumed they would fit. Can anybody confirm this? The reason I'm asking is because I have seen threads that suggest they wont fit over the calipers and that I need to find 17" wheels.

Well I assembled the axle far enough to get the wheels on and the 16" alloys do clear the calipers. Now I need to find some ubolts...

I didn’t have access to oem 16” wheels when I did mine, but the standard 16” alloy wheel you see on a lot of econolines woulldnt fit over the brakes on the 05 Sterling 10.5 I picked up. Had to go to a 17” wheel.

regarding the front of your quigley. what axle are you running? I have the 03 f350 Dana 60 in mine and just swapped to standard off the shelf unit bearings on it to match the 8x170 sterling axle in back. keeps me from having to buy the custom quigley units or any kind of adapters.
