Anyone have opinions about which Tire to go with. So far I'm looking at the bfg ko2 or the general grabber x3 in 285/70/17.

Open to suggestions!

Nice looking rig, tent, and rims DS. I also like the pic of you pulling the red truck out. Too funny. Thanks for posting. Cheers, Chilli..:)

I'm running the nitto g2 on my '16. It's done great so far. Had it in about 10" of snow last week and they just dug in and kept rolling. I'm only running 275/55/20 on some xd wheels.
I have the 2.5 RC kit on the front as well.

So a choice that wasn't listed is what I went with. 285/70/17 cooper Stt Pros, E rated. Figure we will need all the advantage offroad we can get.

The tent has been awesome thus far. Nuthouse industries has been awesome as well with support and planning of future mods. The new 1000lb 100% slide out is going to be an after expo project for sure. ( https://www.instagram.com/p/BPRMeELB5Ac/ )

Did pick up the skid plate package from the dealership today GM part# 23176881 that includes two aluminu. Skids for the front and the z71 transfer case skid I already have. 20170127_170739.jpg

The question now is if I should Line-x them or not for a little more durability. Not that I'll be rock crawling in this one.

Got the skid plates installed. Decided against Line-x at the moment. These should be from the factory.

Just need to finish extending the breather lines.

Im looking at getting those skid plates also. Did they include hardware and where did you get them? Good looking truck!

How much did those skid plates run? I'd assume really easy to install, right?

I just put a cheap Amazon switch box, like the one you posted a pic of, in the bed of my '14 Silverado yesterday.

Keep up the good work!

I think I posted the gm part number earlier in the thread but I picked them up at my dealer for $218 w/tax. Replaced the plastic junk that was under there and also had the transfer case skid. All bolts included as well.

Very easy to put on the plates. I have to figure out how to best protect the tranny without locking in the heat from the crossover pipe. Even though I have the max Trailer package with the cooler I'm still concerned about just putting a solid plate over it

Next electrical mod is power to the cap so I can run some chargers for the phones up to the tent.

Not a whole lot going on. Dual battery is Doing great, still have to wire in the fuse panel in the bed. Usually keep the ACR shut off as I only have the side lights on the second battery as of yet. Tires have been great and so has the tent. Hopefully get around to doing some stuff in June as we get some money together.

Had a 8day snowboarding trip to winter park that was pure awesome to finish the season.
Now it's time for summer sports.

Been a slowdown on new additions to the truck. We have been traveling and working on the wife's wrangler. Here are some pics for those who are considering a full size. Looking forward to Mid-atlantic Overland Festival in 2 weeks, hope to see you there!
