Always like the long wheelbase option available with GM vans. That black van looks fantastic. Almost makes me wish I'd of bought one of them instead of my 7.3 E-350...

chevrolet express aluminum front bumper

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Your new bumpers are really really nice. I particularly like the panels so you can offer different cutouts for different lights. I am sure you have already considered brush guards and bull bars for them etc as well as the swingouts for the rear.

Thanks, yes you have all kinds of custom options that you can add to these bumpers.

One suggestion might be to offer Black oxide stainless screws for the panels so folks could keep the blackout look. Just a small detail really. But those things are really nice designs and executed even better.
For this van we used stainless button head to go with the trim on the van, Black would be a easy change.

We will be adding pics of the rear bumper with dual swings soon.

If you own a Chevrolet Express we have a lot of cool products coming in 2018.....

Well its FINALLY here!

The Sema 2017 GMC Savana showcase video showcasing this awesome van. Lots went into building this GMC 3500 van with the Explorer Conversion and now you can see it done.

GMC Sema build video

You guys sure are a tough crowd! No comments on the latest video?
I know there are Chevrolet/GMC guys hanging out here? Your feedback does really matter to us on many different levels. We would love to hear what you think of the new aluminum bumpers give us the positive and negative, we are always trying to improve upon future designs and styles.

What would you like to see in a future video? We are starting our Sema 2018 Build and want to make sure we include as much build info as possible.
Thanks everyone.

Sorry... I watched that video (#vanporn) as soon as it came out but on my TV/Roku so I didn't think of giving feedback.

Bumpers

I love the bumpers! The fact that they have the plates that make it "modular" for lighting, tire carries and boxes is awesome! I would definitely have ordered that frump bumper instead of my current one (variation of the SEMA bumper) if it was available at the time.

I think you should have an option for a "bull bar" on top with a light bar (which is probably not a surprise).

Also, for the rear boxes, may I suggest a "chuck box" option where you would have a slide-out drawer for either a Partner stove or a classic Coleman stove. Plus a place to hang cooking utensils.

One thing that annoys me is the trailer hitch below the bumper. You should have an option to have it go behind the license plate or something to improve the departure angle.

4WD conversion

I'm really glad to see that you are now offering a complete 4WD conversion kit. The problem I always found with your website is that it implies it can be done but the transfer case and axle elements do not appear on the website.

Because I live so far I would've liked to be able to order the suspension AND the (refurbished?) transfer case AND the front axles. 1-stop-shop Because honestly, after all the money I put in my 2WD lift, the jump to a 4WD no longer seems that steep. And if it can be done in phases, that would be even better! Of course you probably wouldn't have it for my van's year but if you did, I would've bought it. :D

Also I wish that conversion kit was DIY. Even if it's difficult and has to be done by a professional shop (again, for customers living far away) at least it's available.

Video

All your videos are well done! The movement, music and professional editing make them fun to watch. Once you had me hooked you started saying all that great information and content about how you designed your product.

Hopefully Kaiden will let you drive his van in real off-road situations to really show off the capabilities of your kits.

love the stance and suspension on the van! the front bumper looks really good, so does the back. modular seems to be a smart move allowing everyone to customize it to their preference. i much prefer that look to a tubular bumper look.

I vote for a 2WD Baja Pre-Runner Moto Van for your next build. Deck out a cargo van with work bench, tool box, helmet hanger, pressure washer, bike tie down system, etc. Could be a great way to highlight your lift kits and show that not all cargo vans offer free candy.

Another vote for a DIY version of the 4X4 conversion.

As a Chevy 3500 owner, I love seeing options for chev/GM vans. The bumpers look awesome and the modular approach is fantastic, plus the light weight too. Question what size wheels and tires are on that van. And what years does the complete 4x4 kit apply too.

Thank you.

Thanks , glad you like them.
Typically we are running 33" to 35" tires on our 4x4 conversions. This kit will work with 2003-current 2500/3500 vans.

To Infinity and Beyond!
Here is the Weldtec van at SEMA 2018.

I got to spend some time with Jeremy looking at his van and discussing the upgrades.

The van looked GREAT!!!

The 4WD conversion under van is well designed and packaged for the Express.

The roof rack is a site to behold!!!

Even Jeremy said he went a little overboard on the roof rack. The recessed awning is spectacular in that it looks like a natural part of the van rack rather than an add on that was forgotten and tacked on the side like all the other roof racks currently on the market. The front and rear bumpers are very nice along with side step/slider's mounted the frame.

Overall a very nice van well presented by Jeremy and his team!20181101_104904_resized.jpg20181101_105051_resized.jpg20181101_105100_resized.jpg20181101_105104_resized.jpg20181101_105125_resized.jpg20181101_105131_resized.jpg20181101_110008_resized.jpg20181101_110023_resized.jpg20181101_110133_resized.jpg20181101_110353_resized.jpg
