It looks like its time to get building and in a hurry! WeldTec Designs has teamed up with Lightforce Performance lighting to build this 2016 Chevrolet 3500 Express van for SEMA 2016. With only 90 days to complete this build everyone is going to have their work cut out for them. Brought to WeldTec Designs by a customer for a few upgrades has now turned into a full; lets see how silly we can get with not a lot of time.
We will be trying to film a lot of this build and look forward to sharing it with you guys on our social media pages & youtube. If you don't follow us please start now, as a benefit we will also be giving away product to our followers and subscribers.

We will be adding photos and letting you guys building your van what products we love and we you could live without. With so many products available our goal is to build this interactive with you! As we are fairly new to the van game we love your help and always appreciate your feedback on our build.

So lets get building!

Awesome! We hear that SEMA will have vans-a-plenty this year! We would be honored to supply 3M Thinsulate(TM) for your build (as well). One lightweight easy to install product that kills panel resonance and also provides acoustic and thermal insulation. Using it will save you a bunch of time early in the project.

All the best,
Hein

Day 2..

Any spy shots of your 08 and up ford fiberglass fenders?????
not yet... soon.... very soon...

Day 2 update...
Much of day 2 was spent on the computer drawing parts, rocking out to music and having fun with our new CAD files. For all you Chevrolet van owners we are going to have some killer parts and suspension products....

Sweet! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Were you able to find CAD files for the van shell?

Thanks for giving some love to the big GM vans!!!!

Bring on the goodies, any plans for a gas tank skid plate? One part number might fit all the vans............

This is going to be good! i think sometimes the Express/Savanna get skipped on because of the support for the E series

No Kidding! I'd love some fender flares like the Ford's have.

Now that the e-series vans are out of production maybe the aftermarket will support the Chevy more, unless everything goes more to the larger Sprinter/Transit vans.
