The Ox - flat pack truck

Saw this on BBC news:
"The Ox is billed as "the world's first flat-pack van" - a two-wheel drive, off-roader made of marine plywood that can be assembled by non-experts in under 12 hours and travel 1,000km (620 miles) without filling up."

Anyone know anything about this Ox?

Interesting but not something I'd expect to ever see in the US or pretty much any developed country. I'm sure you could overcome the emissions issues based on what powertrain you used but good luck with crash/safety standards. Of course this is not what it's developed for anyway. I do question how well that fwd will do once it's fully loaded, but then again Gordan Murray isn't exactly an engineering lightweight so if he says it works I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Plenty of other stories out there about it as well.
