Kawasaki military moto M1030B1

There are two of these Kawasaki KLR650 variations for sale here locally. They are on an auction site (Wisconsin surplus) so not sure yet what they will go for. Non-running but turn over.

Very intrigued, but can't find a ton on them online.

Any interesting considerations when looking at these as expo build platform?

Don't know the KLR650 market. But I couldn't see paying over 1500.
